TEMPURA SHRIMP WITH TURKISH COFFEE AIOLI DIP

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 tsp. Turkish coffee
  • 1 garlic clove, sliced thinly
  • 1 lemon peel 
  • Juice of 1 lemon 
  • Salt, pepper
  • 20 medium size shrimp
  • 1 small bottle sparkling spring water 
  • 90 gr. flour

Preparation:

  • Dip: Mix together mayonnaise, lemon juice, grated lemon peel, coffee and garlic. Set aside.
  • Mix flour with spring water in a separate bowl.
  • Coat the shrimps with this batter and cook in a hot fryer until golden color. Serve with the dip.
